Nowadays we have the capacity to enjoy food from around the world without even having to go anywhere, because that food comes to you! Thank you, creator of house delivery services! But thanking him for what? Although you can put forward your love for different cultures and your love for their food, are you sure you know them properly?
Here is a quick Quiz to test yourself!
What is Culture?
a) The study of mountains, oceans, and other landforms
b) Set of shared values, beliefs and behaviors of a group or society
c) Different types of food belonging to a country

Food brings people together on many different levels. It’s nourishment of the soul and body; it’s truly love.
When travelling and experiencing new things in a totally different country you must and will taste local food. Also realising that the same dish you order doesn’t have the same taste at all. Even though a lot of restaurants make great Indian food, the curries eaten IN India will taste different. Spices travel a lot, and you can buy every one of them wherever you are. But the flights, the temperature and the way you cook them make your meal taste differently.
You may not believe me. However, when you have been walking all day in the Indian heat and beautiful sceneries, heard the noisy markets all day long, that curry you are going to eat will taste a whole different way than the one you ordered. Food is related to the experiences you live and the way of life you have.
Eating a stew in an exotic country is possible, but your stew won’t be as much appreciated than if you ate it in winter next to a nice fire.
My point being: travel and taste your world! With experiences, new friendships, projects, discoveries and much more, you will develop an open mind (if you already have one, well it will be even more open!)
